The Rehabilitation Institute of South Florida has two locations – Memorial Regional Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital South. Both locations provide a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation program that is customized to meet your personal goals and help you achieve the highest level of independence possible. We provide excellent quality care with a holistic approach, addressing the physical, cognitive, social and psychological aspects of your recovery. The rehabilitation team provides intensive, multidisciplinary therapy in a compassionate, patient- and family-centered environment. We provide the support and resources to help you overcome your challenges and move forward together to transition you back home.

- What to Bring
Bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Feel free to bring any other items such as music and photos to help you feel at home. - Plan of Care
Upon admission, your rehabilitation team will complete a detailed assessment of your condition and together with you and your support system, develop an individualized program with realistic goals. - Therapy
You will participate in a multidisciplinary schedule of therapy for a minimum of three hours a day for five to seven days a week. - Discharge Planning
From the beginning, your team will assist you in planning a safe discharge home. We will prepare you and your family with any necessary equipment or service to support your continued recovery at home.

Visiting Hours
We recognize the importance of family in your recovery, so we do not have specific family visiting hours. However, keep in mind that you are occupied with therapy throughout the day so visitation after 4pm may be more convenient. Please be respectful of other patients when having visitors.
